The BMW ID9 Head Unit IDC23H is an OEM infotainment control unit developed by Harman Becker (in collaboration with Garmin) for BMW’s latest iDrive 9 system. It is the hardware core of BMW’s ID9 infotainment platform, built on Android Automotive OS (AOSP) and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset, delivering high-performance computing and rich connectivity for modern BMW vehicles. This unit replaces the previous MGU22/MGU22H series and is factory-installed in select BMW compact and mid‑size models from late 2023 onward.
