License SCANIA EMS S8 – allows to read & write FLASH and EEPROM of engine control unit EMS S8.

Operation modes:
- OBD
- DC
- JTAG
In OBD mode:
- Read / Write Flash only
- Read / Write EEPROM not possible (only JTAG)
- Auto Checksum
- Need to make adjustments with the COO connector (check MyVEI manuals)
In DC mode:
- Read / Write Flash only
- Read / Write EEPROM not possible (only JTAG)
- Auto Checksum
- On the bench without opening ECU
- On-bench diagnostics with cable
In JTAG mode:
- Read / Write Full Flash and EEPROM
- Need to open EMS and solder adapter
- For recovery. No checksum.
Hardware requirements:
- VEI V6/V7 device
- Direct Connect 2U tool with OBD2 power cable
- DC2U-EMS S7/S8 cable
- DC2U-ISP-JTAG+BDM cable
- DC2U-JTAG8 flex adapter
