- DC
- JTAG
In DC mode:
- Read / Write Flash only
- Read / Write EEPROM not possible (only JTAG mode)
- Checksum coming soon
- On bench without opening control unit
- On-bench diagnostics by cable
In JTAG mode:
- Read / Write full Flash and EEPROM
- Need to open EEC3 and solder adapter
- For recovery. No checksum.

- VEI V6/V7 device
- Direct Connect 2U tool with OBD2 power cable
- DC2U-EEC3 cable
- DC2U-ISP-JTAG+BDM dongle
- DC2U-JTAG8 flex adapter
