OEM BMW ID7 Navigation Head Unit MGU F
The BMW ID7 Navigation Head Unit MGU F is the Media Graphics Unit (MGU), the core processor component of BMW's iDrive 7 (ID7) system (also known as Head Unit High 3 or BMW Operating System 7.0), handling display, iDrive interface, navigation, and multimedia in Live Cockpit Professional setups with 10.25-inch or 12.3-inch screens.
Functions
- Processes audio system, navigation (e.g., Europe/North America maps, region-specific updates), telephone, board computer, and iDrive controls.
- Supports Online APP platform (OAP), WiFi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (via coding/activation), gesture control, touchpad input, USB connectivity (up to 500mA, glovebox for updates), AUX input, and customizable displays (trip data, sport gauges, driver assists).
- Paired with RAM (Receiver Audio Module) for tuner, antenna, and amplifier; requires FSC/SWT enable codes.
- Compatible with video interfaces for rear/front cameras, DVD, games, etc. (video-only insertion).
