📋 Service Description
This specialized software service provides a complete Personalized Activation (Personalization) solution for the Mercedes-Benz INV20EM01 Inverter Control Module. In modern Mercedes EQ electric vehicles, the high-voltage inverter is heavily locked to the vehicle's FBS4 immobilizer system. If the original inverter fails, replacing it traditionally requires online SCN coding via the official Mercedes-Benz server, or access to the original FBS4 security data, which is often lost or inaccessible if the old module is completely dead.
Our off-line programming service completely bypasses these restrictions. We enable you to successfully adapt a new or used INV20EM01 inverter to the vehicle without needing the original FBS4 data. This offline solution eliminates the need for an official online portal account, saving you significant time and money while ensuring the vehicle's drive system is fully operational. Our software is continuously updated to support the latest 2025 Mercedes-EQ models.
🔧 Tools Requirements
To perform this offline personalization and activation, your workshop must be equipped with the following:
- Supported Diagnostic/Programming Interface: A compatible J2534 pass-thru device or dedicated Mercedes engineering hardware (e.g., eCOM, SD Connect C4/C5/C6, VCI eVX) to communicate with the vehicle's drivetrain CAN bus.
- High-Voltage Safety Equipment: Certified Class 0 insulated gloves, safety glasses, and HV insulating mats. (Warning: Working on EV inverters involves lethal high voltages. Proper de-energization and lockout/tagout procedures are mandatory.
- Offline Programming Software/Loader: Our provided software application/loader is installed on a Windows-based laptop to execute the personalization script, write the VIN, and synchronize the immobilizer data.
- Stable 12V Power Supply: A stable auxiliary power supply (maintainer) is required during the programming process to prevent voltage drops that could brick the module.
