EBS-7P Adapter Cable for Wabco – Diagnostic & Service Cable
The EBS-7P adapter cable is a professional diagnostic interface designed exclusively for Wabco Electronic Braking Systems (EBS). It connects standard diagnostic tools (e.g., Wabco Toolbox, multi-brand testers, or PC-based applications) directly to the 7-pin diagnostic socket found on trailers and trucks equipped with Wabco EBS ECUs. High-quality shielding, robust connectors, and precise pin assignment guarantee stable communication and fast data transfer during troubleshooting, parameterization, and system calibration.
Function
- Establishes a direct connection between a diagnostic interface (OBD, USB, or Bluetooth VCI) and the vehicle's Wabco EBS unit.
- Enables reading and clearing of EBS fault codes, live data monitoring, and actuator tests.
- Supports ECU programming, parameter adjustments (e.g., brake lining wear sensors, load-sensing valve settings), and software updates.
- Suitable for workshop diagnosis of ABS/EBS trailer systems and motor vehicle EBS modules (1‑channel, 2‑channel, and multi‑channel systems).
- Compatible with 24 V board systems (heavy‑duty vehicles) and optionally with 12 V systems via an appropriate converter.
- 7‑pin round connector to OBD-II 16‑pin or DB9/DB15/VCI‑specific plug (depending on interface version).
