BMW Remote Coding Technical Support
Offering BMW remote coding services for global partners and customers. Since 2008, the AUTOSVS team has been offering BMW E-sys technical training locally with huge support from both our customers and partnerships with independent shops and local BMW dealership staff. We are proud to offer BMW full series coding, programming, OEM retrofitting, factory level FSC packs for NBT, EVO ID5 ID6 ID7. SSH port open, removing component protection, regional system convert, local navigation maps FSC certificates. etc.
Coding remotely alters this paradigm and reduces the human variable with an emphasis on convenience instead. In many cases, this is the only option – BMW remote coding, and not a choice. In many cases, there are just no experienced local coders who are available to work on your BMW. With the AUTOSVS team’s remote coding service support, we still strive to maintain the level of customer satisfaction that has been so central to our ethos and hope to provide the same experience as coding locally, despite not being there in person.
What is involved with coding a BMW remotely?
Coding remotely involves a few other logistical issues such as having a working windows laptop environment, the correct coding cable, your own vehicle battery charger (if flashing modules), and coordinating a schedule that works for both parties (especially if the client is international). Once all three things are situated and readily available, having your vehicle coded remotely is as easy as connecting to your internet connection, plugging in the required cable, and letting us do the rest.
Breakdown list of BMW software

What does AUTOSVS do when coding my BMW through the internet?
AUTOSVS team will connect to your laptop, download and install the required software components/files, and configure the cable interface to fully work with the BMW standard tools software coding suite.
A remote desktop/Teamviewer connection is established between our computer and your laptop.
The required software is downloaded (we may request to have this done prior to the coding session to speed up the process), installed by the technician, and configured. Once the software and hardware configuration portion are complete, we will then review the coding options you’ve selected and feature code your vehicle.
If by chance you are getting a software flash, you’ll be instructed to hook up a vehicle battery charger before the flash starts.
Once the work is complete, the coder will go down the feature list and help you review the features coded in order to help you understand and use them.
After the review portion is complete, you’ll have the option of keeping the software on your computer or removing it. Keeping the software on your laptop allows us to reconnect and add any features which you might want in the future, or re-code any that get reset by the dealership (we re-code features at half price).
Once all remotely coded features on your BMW are verified and you are happy with the service, you’re done!
Is there a way to code my F series BMW without needing to install E-SYS locally on my machine?
Yes, in fact, AUTOSVS only offers remote coding via VPN and programming via locally installed Esys and Psdzdata. Not only does this reduce software installation headaches, but it also decreases the amount of time required for the entire coding session. All files and software are up to date on our end and no additional software besides the remote desktop application needs to be installed on your local computer. Customers wishing to utilize VPN coding will need a windows 7+ laptop and FULL administrative privileges (in order to install the VPN driver).
After AUTOSVS finishes the remote coding on my vehicle, can I then use the software and cable to code my own vehicle?
Yes if you know how the system works, and we encourage you to do so. If you opt to leave the software installed on your laptop, it’s yours to use from that point forward. What better way is there to fully enjoy your vehicle than to configure it in a way that you want, whenever you want.
What happens if, during the remote coding session, we are disconnected?
In the rare case that a prolonged period of internet downtime is experienced, the BMW remote coding session will need to be rescheduled for a later date.
